Nice to meet you Ganesha
Look for the helpers, isn’t that what is said in times of crisis? I always imagined that this was in reference to first responders and teachers, however today I read the following inscription about Ganesha (on exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC)
“…this [Ganesha] would have been placed in a temple niche to remove obstacles standing between the worshipper and the divine… Ganesha stands in a pose that emphasizes his playful and rambunctious nature-in contrast to his father Shiva's [more serious] cosmic dance of creation and destruction. As remover of obstacles, Ganesha clears a path…”
Ohhhh, my eyes were opened to the notion that ‘the helpers’ may be those who create moments that lead us to joy.
Who are the beings in your circles that have the capacity to digest the good and the bad in the muck of life and still let good loose!
Maybe it’s you!? If so, please don’t dampen now.
We need new beginnings, adaptability, luck, and laughs.
We do have permission to experience joy - even if it means finding creative workarounds and leaning on those who are able to see beyond evil, clear the obstacles of fear, and make us smile.
Tell me who clears the way for you? :)

Thank you for reading.
P.S. Before today I didn’t know much about Ganesha (or any of the Hindu deities really) so please excuse my over simplification here. #beginnersmind
